This royal palace was the home of King Henry VIII of England. His fifth wife, Catherine Howard, has been heard screaming in the 'Haunted Gallery." on December 21, 2003, CCTV footage showed someone in 16th century clothes and no face closing a fire door that, was constantly being opened without anyone near it.

Henry's fifth wife, Catherine Howard, condemned for adultery, was held at the palace under house arrest before her execution at the Tower of London. An 1897 book about the palace says she was reportedly seen, dressed in white and floating down one of the galleries uttering unearthly shrieks.

The palace was once a prison for King Charles I, who later was be*headed, and then home to his nemesis Oliver Cromwell, who briefly ruled when Britain was for a short time a republic.

This haunting tunnel is located near Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada. Constructed sometime in the 1900's and made completley out of limestone, it was used as a drainage tunnel for nearby farms contradictory as a railroad tunnel that most people think. Legend has it that a little girl was in a nearby farmhouse when it caught fire and in an attempt to escape, she herself caught fire and ran all they way down into the tunnel and tried to extinguish herself but evidently di*ed as a result. Of course there is many variations of this tale and I do not think anyone knows the true story. But it is said that anyone who lights a match within the walls of the tunnel will hear the screams of the girl who was on fire and the match will go out.

The Castle is actually called Bran Castle but is commonly called Dracula's Castle. It is located near Bran and Brasov in Romania and is a national monument and landmark. It is situated on the border of Transylvania. This infamous castle is among several locations linked to the Dracula legend. It is now a museum that is open to tourist, displaying items and furniture collected by Queen Maria. The castle sits on top of a rocky peak in the Carpathian Mountains. In the late 1200's and early 1300's, the fortress had been overtaken by Saxons and used against invading Turks. In 1921 it was renovated into royalty for Queen Maria. The name Dracula's Castle came from the leader Vlad who viciously impaled thousands of people and led them to agonizing de*aths. Although the castle has no evidence of Vlad the Impaler residing in Dracula's Castle, the place in still highly viewed as being extremely haunted and if you are not convinced, the owners encourage you to find out for yourself!

The Tower of London is one of the most famous and well-preserved historical buildings in the world. Over the last 1,000 years there have been scores of exe*cutions, mur*ders and tortures that have taken place within its walls.

Perhaps the most well-known ghostly resident of the tower is the ghost of Ann Boleyn one of the wives of Henry VIII, who was also beheaded in the tower in 1536. Her ghost has been spotted on many occasions, sometimes carrying her head, on Tower Green and in the Tower Chapel Royal.
